This post is from last weekend, when I had yet another excellent outing at Tiny Marsh. If you follow this blog you know I love heading over to Tiny Marsh in Tiny Township. I visit the marsh in every season but spring is by far the most exciting time to go.
Even before you see anything, the sounds of the marsh are overwhelmingly alive. You can roam through the marsh in any number of directions, and on this visit I went everywhere and left tired and satisfied.
One highlight of this visit was catching the ospreys mating on their platform, which is good news because it means they are back for a second season on this recently installed nest.
Also seen were loons, beavers, warblers, and various other waterfowl.
And so begins another spring in Ontario. Happy Birding!
