Over Christmas holidays we had many warm grey days, but today the sun was forecast to shine so I did some research for a good place to take a nature walk.
Using the AllTrails app, I located a hike in Pretty River Provincial Park, with the trails being part of the Bruce Trail.
I was hunting for owls in the area as we hiked but didn’t have luck with birds at all. Even without bird activity it was a wonderful walk and the varying terrain was very nice to seen and a great few hours of exercise too.
The views in this area are quite nice, with Blue Mountains and other parts of the Niagara Escarpment, not to mention a wide range of trees.
I look forward to seeing this park in the spring and summer, and so we will return for sure!
