Recently I had the good fortune of shooting stock photos at the Niagara Apothecary, a heritage site that was operated as an actual pharmacy in the early 1800’s.
With the constant progress we see in pharmaceuticals and health care, it’s fascinating to look back at how things once were. It was incredible to see all the remedies that were once used to cure ailments.
The site itself has been meticulously restored. Located in Niagara On-the-Lake, Ontario, the museum is open to visitors during the summer months.
